Tom Smith, Special Guest of Friends of Filk

Friends of Filk is bringing Tom Smith to Orycon 17 as their Special Guest, all the way from far-off Michigan (Noooo, not Detroit!!!). Tom Smith is a songwriter and musician who has recorded two albums with Dodeka Records, Ltd.: Who Let Him in Here? and Domino Death. While best known for his humorous songs such as "Operation: Desert Storm" (about our favorite wiley ACME customer) or "Return of the King, Uh-huh" (Elvis lives!) and baaad puns, he also writes the occasional song which can truly touch your heart as with his tribute to the late Jim Henson, "A Boy and His Frog".
